Two adjacent 4,000 square foot single family dwellings in San Francisco’s Pacific Heights were combined to create this 8,000 square foot residence. The houses were fully upgraded with new foundations, extensive steel seismic frames and an electronic-overlay home control system. Custom details include a three story stainless steel spiral staircase, wine cellar, curved ceilings and walls, and a stainless steel window system from Switzerland. The exterior materials include Italian volcanic ash panels, a Japanese electrified glass product and a stainless steel curved element. The interior floors are finished in English slate, Tibetan carpets and Wenge wood flooring.
