Residence & Recording Studio Kentfield, California
Located on a forested hillside with dramatic views eastward to the San Francisco
Bay, this contemporary house and recording studio are built from modern materials
put to innovative use. The crescent shaped structures are constructed from board
formed cast-in-place concrete and augmented by gray zinc cladding. The mahogany
windows are topped by translucent fiberglass awnings and accented by vertical
plaster panels. The interiors of the main residence boast floors of mahogany
and quartzite slate with casework of madrone and birch.
